I’m going to buy a lightweight weight one. I’ve had babies in March/April and June and this is my first for May. I found with my June one I was out 5 hours after her birth but my god it was a god send in labour I literally was in and out the bath as I was too hot in hospital waiting for an induction. I used one them knee length ones and just popped that on n off when in n out bath. I am planning to do the same this time as I am one of those that can’t stand clothes on in labour so I’ll have that with a crop top and some loose shorts on (til near time). They defo come in handy as well for when you going to bathroom and don’t want to get dressed immediately. I find heavily pregnant and hospitals don’t mix with the heat 😂
As a Doula, I feel like robes are the best! They allow you to be as covered as you want but still move around & breastfeed easily.
