Hiya, I'm an Independent Travel Agent. It's great. It started with friends as my clients and they have recommended me to others so I've built my customer base that way. I've also found linkedin helpful for gaining new clients.
Yes I do, I had no choice really, I left my job when 6 months pregnant because of a pregnancy discrimination case so whilst I was on ‘maternity’ leave I decided I HAD to learn new skills so I could work for myself & not have the pressure of finding another job! I already worked in the digital space so knew that’s the way forward, so I bought a few online courses, learnt new skills like content creation, branding & marketing, the different platforms and about their algorithms, sales skills etc in nap time. Now I help other women and lots of mums use those skills to launch their own businesses. There’s lots of ways to have multiple revenue streams too which I like. Personally I think skills like I’ve learnt can be taken into SO many businesses. One mum I’m helping runs a massage therapy business but had no clue how to run the digital side of it! So it works for all industries x
i run a small cake topper business, mainly selling on etsy 🫶🏼
I have an e commerce arbitrage store. It takes money to start tho. U will generate at least 15% per month
I am in the Travel Business that positions me to make multiplestreams of income from one industry. I also have accounts on IG I am growing in hopes of monetization. Most of what I do for both is engaging with people online, friends and family, referrals from those friends and family members.
Business to business consulting. Client relations, project management and technical writing is the bulk of the work!
