Nursery applications
Does anyone know how long roughly it takes to be accepted into a nursery after applying? We went to view one last week and was very happy with it so applied straight away, a week later and I’ve still not heard anything. Is this normal? New to it all lol

@Sophie I spoke to the manager before applying, she told me to apply on the website and then we could arrange settling in. It’s been a week and I’ve not heard anything after submitting the application, I just didn’t know whether this was normal. I didn’t know whether to ring or not x
Ohh okay I'd give them a ring then and just ask for an update on the time frame theyre looking at 🙂
Depends on the waitlist!! Our first choice we got a place 2 years later!!!!!! Call on Monday. It’s important to plan your life! They will understand

It depends on their waiting list. Some nursery's in my area are booked up until 2026. Others you can get in September 2025. So maybe worth giving them a ring and asking when there will be a space available for your little one and when they're looking at starting the settling in sessions
