Day of ovulation

My period length has been 26 for the last few periods I’ve had. Last month I really felt like I knew I was ovulating as had heavy discharge etc, however today is day 12 of my cycle so going by the length of the last few cycles would mean I’m at my highest fertility today. However I don’t feel any different? No discharge at all. Do you think I’m still ovulating today and worth having sex or wait a few days? It’s all a minefield when you don’t know when your next period is def gonna be !!
