Hey mamas! So what are we doing for 1st birthdays? I need ideas, something small ideally. I feel clueless this time around 😂

We’re doing a small Minnie Mouse themed party at our local pizza place for our daughter

We are planning a small Avery in one-derland party. Really it will just be ice cream and cupcakes. Not doing a huge party and not asking for anything.

For presents, we offered sending a link to his 529 account for contributions. Was actually surprised how many did it!

We did “man, I feel like I’m one” disco cowgirl. I got some decor on Amazon but also made a lot of my own. It wasn’t over the top but it was cute and fun

@Mallory that's a great idea! We may do that. Thank you!

I’m doing a breakfast party. Before her nap time. Plus, other kids have different preferences for lunch/dinner and it’s hard to accommodate that. Rare when toddlers don’t want fruit.

We’re going to do one year around the sun theme. At a pizza place free rental room with close family.

Also doing a A-name in ONEderland theme. Mostly family, tea snacks for the adults and allll the fruit for the kiddos.

Fairy first

My sons was today and it was just me my husband and my mom honestly really enjoyed it got everything at Walmart for about 25 dollars except the cake from Publix

First year down 🏈

Such cute theme ideas!

@Katie your son looks so adorable like he had a great time! I think I’m gonna go the simple home route as well. Thank you for the reminder that that’s fine too. With my first we did the big party and a hall, but that’s not our season this second time around.

My girl is getting nothing ( have no money) her theme was our little lady is turning one. Was going to do a smash cake for her and regular cake and cupcakes for everyone else. Get some decorations of the theme. Maybe a couple activities for the kids that would be there.

We are throwing a bday party at hyper kidz in Columbia MD and ill set up and do goodie bags with a cute my rookie year basketball theme because he loves basketball.
