When to remove the newborn insert in the car seat?

I’m just curious to know if anyone has removed the newborn insert of their car seat yet? I have the ickle bubba stomp urban 3 in 1 travel system , my baby is 14 weeks this week and 13 pounds 10

I don't have that one but we removed ours weeks ago, my little girl was squashed in & it made a massive difference on being comfy. Generally there is a weight/age guide but I've also been advised my professionals to look at the fit. For example, two babies might weight the same but one be chunky & one long so they would need it at different times

@Lizzy it’s so hard to tell, I tried looking on their website for advice but couldn’t find much! He does look like he’s filling it out now to be honest but then when I typed it in on Google it suggested 5-6 months but I don’t think so😂 How old is your baby and what weight if you don’t mind me asking x

We have 2 different cybex, she's now 16 weeks & was 14.6 when we last weighed. You could always remove it, see how he looks & put it back if you're not happy.

We took ours out weeks ago as he was getting squashed. We’ve got a maxi cosi and they advise to remove it when baby is 60cm.

Remove it when the shoulder straps sit inline with their shoulders without it in, straps need to be inline or maximum 2cm below x

Removed weeks ago as she was no longer comfortable. But left the head support for now...
