May I ask why? I got all the vaccines my OB recommended and the ones my daughters pediatrician recommended as well
I got it, my husband got it, and his parents got it since they will be around a lot. No hesitation.
Hi! I got mine last week, its totally safe. My dad’s a peditiatrician and he told me to go for it, it actually helps your body make antibodies that pass to your baby and can protect him until he’s able to get vaccinated.
Your immune system is suppressed when pregnant. Forcing an immune response (that’s what cupcakes do) is detrimental to your health. Try watching this Candace Owens podcast, she does a wonderful job explaining the TDAP 🧁: https://www.bitchute.com/video/afJbldpJcyXi/ If you want to explore further, https://www.justtheinserts.com/tdap/? This is a link to all of the ingredients in the TDAP 🧁 itself. I understand your weariness, don’t let other shame you into following blindly. You have the right to explore the precautions on your own.
I declined all vaccines for myself and my baby the first time and this time. My 2 year old is healthy. It's your choice, but do your research. Don't immediately trust the pharmaceutical companies and doctors that profit from them.
@Grace Candace Owens is full of nonsense. Listen to actual scientists and actuall research, not morons and bloggers. And the word is "wariness" not "weariness".
I declined the Tdap as well. I’ve done hours upon hours of research regarding the vaccine itself and also on the whooping cough illness and decided that it was something I’d rather take my chances with and treat in the moment. Yes cases can be severe, but most recover completely fine with antibiotics. I highly recommend you look into the vaccine insert as well (which was included in a link above in a previous comment), which is something a lot of people don’t know to look at! The amount of aluminum in the vaccine is another reason I chose to decline. Each individual is different, so I recommend you do your own research, but with my findings I chose to decline even after my midwife pressured me time and time again. Informed consent is a beautiful thing, and it’s great that we all get to choose what we feel is best for us and our children!
@Audrey okay Audrey, and you’re entitled to your own opinion. I’m not going to sit here and be a key board warrior with you.
I was offered this vaccine at my appointment earlier today but chose to decline. I plan to breastfeed and trust my maternal instincts and body to support my baby's health. If any concerns arise in the future, I plan to address them as needed.
@Grace Opinions aren't facts. Opinions aren't the same as science and expert knowledge, which is what I trust over quacks and charlatans and people who misinterpret, intentionally or foolishly, data out of context.
@Audrey okay Audrey, you’re still entitled to believe what you believe. I Have a lovely day 😊❤️
@Grace gee, thanks for the validation internet stranger. Stop spreading misinformation if you don't want people to counter your bad advice.
I chose to decline mine also
Not someone posting Candace Owens 😭😭😭😭

Please get the vaccine, you can give your baby immunity while they are still in utero by getting it now. It is the standard of care for many many years to get it after 28 weeks. It is completely safe. You will hate yourself down the road if your baby is hospitalized from whooping cough and you could have prevented it
Thank you for all the replies everyone, I think im going to take my chances and decline, after hearing everyones advice and doing my own research, i dont think its something i want to do, and in my opinion is a money grab. Thanks again guys 🩵🩵🩵
Why wouldn't you? It's proven safe and protects baby from some really nasty viruses. You don't want to be in the hospital with a newborn suffering from pertussis. The recommendation is that everyone in close contact with a newborn have it. We insisted all the grandparents be up to date too. It lasts 10 years, we just get it every pregnancy to pass the protection to baby. It doesn't even cause any potential side effects of feeling cruddy like the flu shot. Edit to fix stupid phone changing flu to glue 🤦🏻♀️
