Help

I have a possible dental abscess in the front of my mouth (just under my nose tbh) and I was given antibiotics last week. Iv gone back today and unfortunately they won't xray as I'm pregnant and he can't do anything for it incase it's a sinus and not an abscess (without the xray he can't confirm) but now I have to wait 5 months and I'm worried If it is an abscess it's going to spread to my tooth and il lose it in that time. Has anyone else had this?

I was told i can have an xray when pregnant as it’s just the mouth area. They also have aprons they can put over tummy for safety precautions for those extra worried. **I had pain in my tooth & had to get a wisdom tooth removed few weeks ago being pregnant ** x

I’ve had 2 abbesses in 6 weeks I didn’t lose any teeth but a root canal was needed x

Thanks girls ❤️ I've had them in the past and had root canal but I'm worried with the length of time it's being left (5m) that it will develop to the point that the tooth is no longer saveable via root canal 😔 the pain is bareable but it's not nice xxx

5 months? Is that until baby is born ?

Dental nurse here. You can have an xray if it is 100% necessary and needed. Would defo go back x

Yeah 5 months until baby is due (that's when they said they would xray to check what the situation is) If I go back do I make out that the pain has gotten worse? Atm the moment it's bareable so they're happy to leave it unless it gets worse xx
