Progesterone from reoccurring miscarriage unit

Good morning! I recently got progesterone around 7 weeks into this pregnancy. After some heavy bleeding and a previous miscarriage they took me into EPU to scan me and check everything was okay and baby was in the right place. After this I was offered progesterone to take until 16 weeks. I didn’t need to ask and they were super helpful with information about it. I’m not sure how early you’re able to get it but it’s worth asking asap to get the ball rolling. I got the prescription on the day and picked it up an hour or so after. I hope you’re able to get some and give yourself peace of mind x

Hey I also suffered with recurring miscarriages with this pregnancy I was prescribed progesterone at 7 weeks when I went for nhs early reassurance scan at EPU they was prescribed same day as scan as well as aspirin I was on progesterone till 16 weeks I’m now 18+4 weeks Hope you can get it sorted but not sure on how early they can prescribe it x

Hi in also got prescribed it by the recurrent Miscarrige clinic ready for my next pregnancy

@Laura have they give it you already before you’re pregnant?

Yes basically I got given it before my pregnancy because I've had 8 miscarriages so I'm ready for when I fall pregnant

@Laura ah right okay, has it been successful for you? I think i need it ready for when I am too as keep miscarrying very early like 4-5 weeks
