Bottles and solids!

For those of you that are now giving solids, how are you working this alongside the bottles? How many bottles are you giving and with how many meals? Has your baby dropped any ounces or even a whole bottle? For some reason my mind has gone completely blank to when I weaned my daughter a few years ago and I just can’t seem to remember what I did 🫠 I’m just curious as to what everyone else is doing, as my son will sometimes leave an ounce and I’m just considering going a bit longer between bottles and his food etc. Thanks 🙂

Following for the comments as I have stayed consistent with bottles but my LO just does not seem hungry enough for solids, so it would be interesting to see how other people are navigating the weaning process

We have dropped a bottle just her small nighttime bottle 5oz. Weaning hasn't affected her daytime bottles still having 4 8oz. We are now doing breakfast and lunch and maybe a odd snack like a wafer or puff on the evening x

8am breakfast 10am bottle before first nap 12pm lunch 2pm bottle before second nap 4.30pm dinner 6.30pm bottle before sleep

He was having bottles every 3 hours but managed to get it to 4 now he’s having some food xx 8 bottle 10 porridge 12 bottle 2 snack 4 bottle 7 porridge 8 bottle

Bottles at 6am, 10am, 2pm and 6pm and 10pm. puree at 4pm and about to add breakfast at 8am this week. Bottles are still offered the same amount but one of them (changes daily 😅) he will only have about half of x

We're only doing lunch (or breakfast if I know we'll be out) and the only change has been her bottle after lunch nap, had to push this back half hour. All other feeds are the same.

I have kept the same schedule for my LG’s bottles (8,11,2,5,8-ish) and I give food an hour after bottles so she’s not starving hungry or full on milk
