Finger food meal suggestions

Hey, my baby is going through the phase of wanting to feed himself but not happy with single ingredient foods so much like sweet potato wedges/broccoli etc. do you have any finger food meal suggestions? I tried to make veggie/potato tot type things but that was a total fail, so any suggestions welcome! Thank you x

Fish cakes, pasta, quesadillas

Mine hates veg like that now too. Fruit is okay though like rapsberries or slices of plum. Homemade banana pancakes or shop pancakes, crumpets, cheese and crackers, toast with avocado, tuna and cheese quesadilla, french toast bites

Mine just wants what we have so he generally has an age appropriate version of what we're having plus some little side bits like cucumber sticks or cheese cubes. He'll eat all sorts but loves pasta and sauce, roast dinner or a curry but he will only eat carrots on his roast and likes them best with gravy. We''re just letting him practice with the cutlery and hands then we deal with the mess after. Hes actually getting really good with it now and he's much happier seeing he's got the same as us and we're all eating together. One thing I sometimes make for lunch is toasties or toasted wrap with pizza sauce and cheese and he goes mad for that! Will always do some salad or fruit type bits on the side, sometimes a blob of something like guacamole for him to dip bits into. Found that keeping it interesting for him and him eating at the same time as us has been the best for him learning to feed himself and slowly the mess is getting less and less

@Taiya thank you, I think this is what we need to do too!

@CeeCee thank you cee cee! 🤍

@Jaanki thank you!
