@Katie We are thinking the same maybe! His birthday is Friday maybe so a family gathering then and then a party on the Sunday? Absolutely x
We are hiring a hall as we have so much family that there’s not enough room at home. Won’t strictly be a party but more of a gathering
We did a home party and invited all our family which totalled upto 90 people including kids.
for our babies first birthday we just had her grandparents, aunties/uncles and cousins round for a little garden party x

We did a house party, the house was packed but tbh I think it was a bit overwhelming for him and us, if I could go back I think I’d just do his favourite things like going to the petting zoo and then maybe grandparents or very small gathering x
In my culture 1st birthday is party time for the parents. Because which baby?? Lol 🤣🤣 I had a huge house party for mine. Lucky the kid loved it and participated. Owise it's our party lol.
We did party at home with family, extended family included. We had approx 25 people. We did it at home with burgers and cake.
