besides her Groovy One birthday party, her Dad and I are taking her to the boardwalk to see the aquarium animals and to dinner or lunch :) we are going to do start a birthday tradition of her eating a special breakfast the morning of her bday and being woken up with candles, i’m gonna decorate her little play area with balloons and all of her presents and all of her stuffed animals with party hats. The night before she’ll get to wear her special birthday pajamas too. Happy early birthday to your baby!

I feel like I’m the only one not doing a pretty themed birthday for my girl but she loves in the night garden so obviously have to get her dad to dress up as Igglepiggle haha!
On the day planning to do the cake ,present meal,balloon at home doing Hey Duggie theme as favourite show and take her park play with her . On the weekend the family and I taking her to the aquarium and out for a meal . Then weekend after I have a smash cake photo shoot which’s part of a package photo shoot from pregnancy ,newborn,sitting then 1st birthday shoot.
@Georgia so i had no idea what in the night garden was, so i just looked it up. And i hope you dont take it the wrong way, but they're kinda creepy but also kinda cute at the same time lol😹I was gonna say they kinda remind me of teletubbies which is what i grew up on and they terrified my mom out, and it turns out the creator of teletubbies is also for in the night garden.
I did what they showed the most interest in. First son - SpongeBob, daughter - Monsters Inc, second son - Teddy Bears (Beary 1st birthday)
@Kayla they’re so odd looking honestly!! Her nan had one of the teddy’s at her house and she was obsessed from an early age! It was the first thing she clapped to 😭 she also loves teletubbies! 🤣 watch an episode with the ponkipines in, worst parents ever hahaha me and the other half have a good laugh over it
How do your babies show interest in things like sponge bob etc? Do they watch tv?
My kids didn’t “watch tv” at that age but certain songs or things would catch their attention. I do let my kids have screen time tho even from little (don’t care for the judgement lol) just not for long obviously. The colors and songs caught their attention
@Danielle my daughters birthday is March 2 and shopping for decorations have been so much fun

Going to build a bear and doing a berry first birthday party at home with close family 3 days before her birthday. Then on her actual birthday it’ll just be me, her dad and baby girl, we will cook her a nice breakfast and we will take her to the aquarium or take her to a petting zoo.
