I think right now it’s about figuring out wat kiddo likes and improving appetite
I think the best thing is definitely to wait until child is hungry if he still does not want it then 🥲he might not like it or your cooking sucks
My daughter is 16 months and getting her to eat breakfast is the easiest! She will wake up telling me to “go cook”. She loves anything breakfast. But lunch and dinner? Hit or miss. I know her favorites now but sometimes she doesn’t want it and wants what I have even tho she normally doesn’t want it. I started making her fruit smoothies with spinach and carrots in the morning to help her get some added nutrition. Her pediatrician said to keep offering different foods. I would talk to your kid’s pediatrician.
my daughter is super picky she has her few that are always a yes so when I feed her and she barely eats ill give her one her yes foods. She loves the jose ole mini tacos but sometimes she won't even it that so I offer her yougurt as my last resort. I don't give her alot just 2 spoon fulls and 9/10 times she'll eat it
We go for one solid meal a day. And offer snacks anytime. He also can access the snack drawer which I think helps because he gets to pick out what he wants. But honestly if he eats some berries and crackers I’m fine with it! Forcing him to eat is just awful for everyone. He’ll eat when he is hungry 🤷🏼♀️
Unfortunately my child is picky i started giving him multivitamins that been helping more lately to get him to eat but yes i do offer alternative meals sometimes not all the time. One day he lovesss mac and cheese the next he hates it. Its causing us to waste soo much food and is complicated im 35 weeks pregnant i am tired!
