Food Regression

My daughter is almost 7 months and has been eating purées as well as BLW for the last 2 months. She knows how to sign “all done” and in the last week she’s eaten a couple bites each meal time (3 times a day) and has been done eating. Just want to know if this is normal?

i’ve heard that from 7-9 months they’re supposed to be eating 2 meals a day and then working their way up to 3 meals a day

@mallory my daughter was eating 2 meals a day and her pediatrician said about going to 3 meals a day at her 6 month appointment so we’ve been doing that but just this past week she only eats a few bites each meal and she wants no more. She’s also not completely finishing her bottles either

How much are you feeding her? How often? Three meals is good at this age. Some babies need more. What do you do for meals?

My pediatrician seemed bothered. I had her on one meal a day at 6 months, so I'm more confused (she literally eats like 5 bites max 😅)He was like you started solids.... why??? I'm like huh 😕

My boy is 6.5 months and could care less for solids. Tight lips and pushes everything away! Every baby is different

My 7 month old is still mainly on breastmilk. She downed an entire jar of homemade mango puree this morning and had breast milk the rest of the day, and practiced using her straw cup with some water but maybe got like 3 sips. She nurses frequently and is gaining weight fine, no teeth yet, and my doctor told me foods before 1 is just for fun. Introduce them all, but don't force them if they aren't interested it's okay.
