How do you estimate your period?

According to my Flo app my period is due next Friday. But Flo app got my ovulation day wrong. Do you go with Flo’s prediction or count 15 days after ovulation?

Are you tracking your ovulation?

@Katie Yes. What shall I look out for?

How long have you been using Flo and is your period regular it takes a few cycles for Flo to learn your cycles better

@jaxx Yes, been using it years for my period. But first time for TTC

Mine took awhile to predict my ovulation I just kept putting it in manually while I tracked with ovulation strips then after awhile the predictions got better if it’s been correct for your period that will remain the same

Everyone’s luteal phase is different but it tends to be fairly consistent from one month to the next. So if your luteal phase has usually been 15 days in the past I’d count 15 days from ovulation (if you actually tested for it) but you can’t just assume it will be 14 or 15 days. Mine is only 8 or 9 days for instance. If you don’t know how long your luteal phase is then your best bet is to assume your cycle will be it’s regular length but just know that if anything delayed ovulation your period will also usually be delayed accordingly
