Would you be disappointed

Clearly only for the ladies that celebrate Valentine’s Day with their significant other. We have fallen on some tough times and although my fiance wanted to go out for valentines I recommended we can cook dinner together at my house. Although I love going out I thought it would be smarter to save our money and this would be more intimate. I even got us an adult jenga game to play that he knew about. My kids would have been at their dads and my mom lives with me in my home but she is of no bother as I would have gotten her a meal beforehand. My fiance invited his mother, and my mother to dinner. He also asked that my kids stay for dinner before leaving. We cooked dinner for everyone. My kitchen was a total bomb, I cleaned up, and now he’s so tired from all of it he’s passed out cold. It was definitely not the intimate experience I was going for and I much rathered went out to eat just him and I. He can be super romantic when he wants to be so I’m not sure what happened here.

Yeah not sure why he turned a date night into family night?

I mean dinner as a family is cool. But I’d also want that alone and intimate time with him. But also him falling asleep after eating shows it was a good meal at least, right??

I mean it’s kind of a green flag that he interpreted your idea of staying in as making it a family celebration but I can also understand your disappointment. I’d just ask when you can plan to have the romantic night in you were thinking of. Kind of makes your point without rejecting his nice gesture

My honey would wake up for intimacy. Even if he’s dead tired. Yours may too.

yeah i’d be disappointed but also, huge green flag that he’s a family man. were you the only one to clean up? i’d also be disappointed with that. but you could make a sexy proposal that he has to make it up to you.. in bed ;)

I think it’s great that he wanted you all to be a family and do family night BUT not on Valentine’s Day lol come on dude
