2year old waking up for bottles of milk

My toddler turned 2 next week and he wakes up about 5 times a night and has done since 6months ago. I pass him his bottle of milk and he stops instantly so it's an easier life but id much prefer if he slept right through. Is he waking up because of the milk or is he just waking up a lot because he's restless I really don't know? Please can someone help me how to get him to sleep. Through x

My 2 and a half year old wakes up atleast twice during night if not more for milk, shes thirsty but thats the only thing she will drink day/night,in a baby bottle, wont even have water. Health visitor suggested doing half milk/water ,that helps her intake of water x

I don’t know if this is the same or not but thought I’d respond just in case it helps. My little boy would wake up every 1/2 hours until 15 months. He would want to feed from me. A friend suggested I leave the room and my husband stay with him instead he was unsettled for a couple of weeks but now he’s only up a couple of times at most. Hope it might help x

I forgot to mention he’s now 21 months

My little girl is coming up to four so we are past this now but when she was about 12 months I went away for an overnight hen do and left her with my partner and until then she was waking up for milk every night but I don’t know whether he didn’t hear her or she just knew I wasn’t there (she’s a mama’s girl for sure), but since that one occasion she’s been sleeping through the night every night (obvs there were occasional wake-ups but I’ve just given her cuddles or water and she was fine). Like the other post says too - maybe don’t be available for a night or two and see what happens. X
