First bday theme and ideas

My daughter loves watermelon and fruits. I went on Amazon and just searched 1st birthday decorations and found a cool themed package "one in a melon" I'm not 100% with the wording but I think I can put my bias on the back burner as everything else fits perfectly for her

My daughter is obsessed with cows and kitties. So we are doing mostly cow themed with a few kitty balloons thrown in. Super cute!

We aren't doing a theme but we have been making those rainbow construction paper links and plan to just cover the place in them, he's starting to understand colors so I thought it'd be fun, affordable and a good activity for my partner and I to do in our little alone time together. We are also working on making hats from aldi bags, pom-poms and paint for his stuffed animals

@Pooja we aren't doing favors. We have different room decor. Our dining room is underbirthday/tea party. We have accordion paper teapots from Amazon. We got card/poker suit decor from fb market. We made tissuepaper flowers and printed out faces. Cheap michaels fake roses going to paint half red. Print chesire smiles and place around. Got "this way, that way" signs off amazon From door is going to make "birthday. This way. Thay way. Enter." Arrows. Was thinking of printing "butterflies" and putting on the wall somewhere. Pink cake with pearl dots and flowers mimicking the unbirthday cake but smaller for smash cake.

@Neish same here! We are just doing a smash cake that I be making since he is allergic to eggs plus is mostly for pictures since they don’t know yet.

We rented out our local merry go round and we’re doing “Rhea’s 1st Rodeo” lol not an exact theme match with the carousel but we figured horses,rodeo🤷🏼‍♀️ 😂
