Lunch ideas out

Feel like it’s a silly question, but what do people do for lunch and stuff if you’re not at home? First time with my 9 month old out yesterday, all I could think of taking was a banana, yoghurt, cucumber and little crisps. Need inspo!

I just came on here to ask the same thing! I’m really struggling with out of the house snacks and meals!

@Jess I’m glad I’m not the only one! Hopefully someone will be able to guide us😂

I just take whatever she would normally have at home out with us. If it's something hot then I cook it before we leave and we have a food flask we take with us to keep it warm.

I do a few little snacks like egg bites, grated cheese, pinwheels ect

Sandwiches normally x

I just share whatever I get with them

Toast and hummus. Toast and grated cheese, cucumber sticks, baby crisps/melt stix, yoghurt, banana, or finger foods you can pre cook like potato tots I find mammy recipes a good page on Instagram and can easily take those sorts of things out with us! X

I’d just buy them something while I’m out tbh. If I go to Starbucks I get the egg cup things or they have porridge or something. I went to wagas the other week and got the fish bites, it really depends where I’m going but generally I do this. For snacks I just usually take some of those wafers but when he gets older I’ll give him snacks like I give my daughter

@Elena is he able to hold the sandwich with a filling?

@Shruti I just cut a sandwich up and she eats it nonproblen x

@Shruti yeah no issues x
