For me, it depends on your last name. If you love Zac, though, use that. You could use names that give Zac as a nickname. Zachary Zachariah Zakai Isaac
Love the name Zac
Kieran,Darren, Dean, Weston, Miles, August,Henry, Leo
@Hannah Thing is we hate the full Zachary or Zachariah, we just like Zac. Last name without giving it away.. close to Chimkoffski (Shim-cough-ski)
@Monica i LOVE Kieran.. honestly any and all irish, gaelic, scottish names. If it was up to be baby would either be Keldan, Kieran, Callum, Cian, or Cillian
Why would Zac not go with that? A short first name often flows very well with a long surname. I see nothing wrong with just using Zac. Question though, you said if it was up to you, baby would be named a list of names that didn't include Zac. How much do you love the name Zac?
@Hannah Fair point! I really do love it, but if i got to openly choose, i’d definitely do a name that I’ve always envisioned from when I was little lol
Does your husband not like your names? Mine vetoed my favourite name. It sucked.
@Hannah Yeah, he isn’t much into them. He’s very into country/ traditional names. He brought up Benjamin, Carter, Ford, Wyatt.. whereas I always had my heart set on Cullen. That was a big fat no, but then the rest of the list he hated too so it’s been tough to find names we both like. What was your favorite name?
That's so frustrating. I love the name Cullen. Taught one like a decade ago, and he was the sweetest little thing. I adored him. My partner vetoed several of my favourite names, including; Jack, Sebastian, Sullivan, Isaac, and Rylan. My favourite was Harrison.
Cullen is such a cute name! I had my heart set on naming my first daughter Cadence. My ex (boyfriend at the time) vetoed that dating he hated the name. I also had wanted to name my first son Jacob, but he hated that one too. I can still use it because I've only had a daughter and he won't be the father of my other children.
All of these are cute! If you love Zac, then you should go with Zac. You could use different spelling or have the full "Zachary" spelling and call him Zac if that works better with your last name. Zachary, Zackary, etc.
