Would anyone talk to their mother-in-law about your husbands affair?

I’d say don’t do it till you’ve decided on what to do. But, what’s your relationship with her like?

I think it shows how their raised by their mother my mother in law is the sweetest & tells him aboit the way he treats me & point out when he does something he shouldn’t

Then, please don’t. Decide if you want to stay or leave first. You don’t want any external forces influencing your decisions. I cannot pretend to know what you’re going through right now, but I know it must feel terrible. Also, know that his actions is not your fault at all. Unfortunately, most moms with full-grown men as sons that have this type of character likely are making them feel justified for this behavior.

I wouldn’t even have a chance to speak to my mil because I would be with her son anymore.

If you're not super close to her then I'd suggest finding someone more impartial to talk things through with.
