BLW help

So we've been weaning for the last 3 months now. Everything has been fine all the way through. Our LO didn't eat much at first and alot ended up on the floor. Recently she's been eating alot more and starting to finish what we put in front of her. We seem to now have the opposite problem to what we started with. She is grabbing the food and ramming it in her mouth. To the point that she already has a mouth full of food and is trying to get more in. She's also sometimes forcefully swallowing so it sounds like the food isn't even getting chewed much anymore. Anyone else had/having this issue? Any advice?

Is she 9 months? This is actually normal for that age. Mine started doing it at 8.5 months. If you get the solid starts app or just have a look online, everything suggests serving food to babies at this age in tiny bite size pieces. So for example I cut up a piece of toast into 64(8x8) squares. She developed her pincer grasp and is great at eating now. We hardly get any gagging. I started this because she started taking the full finger food strip and shoving the whole lot in/ taking massive bites when her teeth came in x

She is! Ahh I never knew this! I'll download the app and have a look. Thank you!

Mines the same.. only give them one piece at a time. So if mines having toast I cut into squares not long strips anymore and he’s given one piece at a time, same with all things. He would put an entire meal into his mouth if I allowed him to.
