First Trimester

Twin pregnancy, 2 placentas growing. Extremely nauseous for weeks, had to visit ER for an IV with nausea medication. Can’t go 6 hours without Zofran. Anyone else having/had similar experience? Any hope it will get better?

Yeah, I had bad nausea until around 20 weeks. I managed to keep Gatorade mostly down so I wouldn't get dehydrated and was able to eat things I was craving. I lost like 10lbs in the first 20 weeks, passed out at 14 weeks. My first pregnancy was the same way with nausea though and he isn't a twin, I lost 20 lbs in the first 20 weeks with him. It does get better, my nausea is almost gone now, I still can't eat chicken or rice without throwing up though 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes, I had bad nausea until about 16 weeks, I took prochlorperazine which helped lots

I had to take diclectin until about month 5 with my twins. I'd still throw up 2-3 times a day but without it it could be like up to 20. Then I was fine partway through the 2nd trimester. I had to take it during my singleton pregnancy too but not as long

I was the same .. you just have to go into survival mode to get through it… around 16/ 17 weeks mine eased off. Stay strong 💪
