Feeding not going so well
My baby has been on solids for about a month and it seems to be getting worse! She’s realised now that she can just clamp her mouth shut. I’ve tried giving her finger foods but the only thing she will eat this way is toast. Does it eventually just click for them and they become good eaters? So far I’ve been just trying to sneak things into her mouth but I don’t suppose this is really the right way to go about it!

My little boy was like this and one day it just clicked. It did coincide with his teeth though as he was also taking less milk but once tge tooth pierced the gums he's been a machine with food. Just don't force anything because they will associate meals as something negative just keep offering she will get there xx
@Laura ah thank you, she doesn’t have any teeth yet so I wondered if this might be the reason, I’ll keep persevering 🫠
All you can do is really stick with it and keep showing her what to do and she will get there. Mine will put everything in but won’t swallow it 🤦🏼♀️
