Place them in a spot you always go to, like a side table with a bottle of water so is something you go to first thing in the morning & set an alarm as an extra reminder
You can get gummy ones? They taste nice so I feel you remember to take them more often, especially as you don't need to mess around with water
Just set either an alarm or a daily reminder in your phone. If you have an iPhone and you do it through the calendar, you can set 2 or 3 reminders for the day and also set to repeat daily.
I tried taking them but they made me so sick I tried many different kinds so I ended up not taking them my Lo is very healthy nothing is wrong. I never had any cravings either cuz I made sure to eat very healthy foods only organic n nothing processed. They say if u crave something it’s cuz you’re lacking that. So if u end up craving something make sure u get plenty.
I skipped days, but I googled what’s in them and just ate food that has the stuff
I have them out on my counter, I’m usually terrrible about taking anything consistently. I put them out and left them out so I see them and I take them when I see them every morning when I go to make breakfast. I also put a reminder in my phone. I have pretty much gotten into a routine at this point but there are days I forget like if I don’t cook breakfast sometimes that’s usually when I won’t take them. You could also just try to put them next to something that you do everyday so you see them and take them like when you brush your teeth or something like that. That’s what has helped me the most.
I skipped a few and we were perfectly fine. The fruit and nutrition you are eating should hold you over I took vita fusion gummies. I could get them down most days but I totally understand that sometimes it’s the last thing you want to take. I had other meds I couldn’t skip though
I couldn't stomach the prenatal but my doctor said if can't eat prenatal at least folic acid which i did once in while my baby fine
I was taking mine then I saw how much lead and things were in certain brands (basically all) from the instagram account leadsafemama. To where i felt safer just eating the proper food then consuming that much lead arsenics etc
I ate Tend bars. They get monotonous but better than pills imo. Also, I only ate one every other day sometimes. It's OK to miss sometimes. On the day you missed, eat more nutritious foods. They are spendy bars but totally worth it to not have to stomach a multi.
I honestly took no prenatals. They made me feel worse. I heard that some people have a hard time with a pull that is so many thing combined so I tried to take separate supplements but like you, forgot all the time. And I was already nauseous from the morning sickness really bad lol. All that to say my baby was brown healthy aside from meconium aspiration which wasn’t a anything to do with that. The one thing that was not so great is I was borderline anemic my whole life so throughout the pregnancy it got worse and did get iron infusions at the hospital the week before giving birth. I will say I am currently trying to get in the habit of taking supplements now to see if I feel any different my next pregnancy.
The concern is folic acid level if you take a prenatal daily one month before pregnancy and at least up to 12 weeks it reduces the risk of birth defects like spina bifida
@Marcy most women can’t actually use the manmade folic acid, that naturally accruing supplement is folate acid so look for that in prenatals. Also oranges are a good natural source and I ate a lot of them my first trimester. I was just craving them all the time, I think my body knew what I needed.
I never took prenatals because they made me nauseous, I took a multivitamin gummy instead. I was also inconsistent, it’s totally fine, as long as you are eating healthy, maybe have your prenatal clinic do an iron test just to check on that. You can do what I did and just take folate and a multivitamin gummy instead
