Yes, I do, for years, and I now have good iron stores in my body. It's best to take iron as soon as you wake up on an empty stomach. How much you need to take depends on body weight. I stay away from iron containing ferrous sulfates. It's bad for those with gi issues and not that great overall as an iron supplement.
I have to take iron on top of my prenatal due to really low iron levels and have been diagnosed with anemia. I have to take ferrous sulfate that was prescribed to me. I have to take that at night cause every time I take it during the day no matter with food or not I end up nauseous or throwing up. My prenatal I still do during the morning since I have a gummy version I really like
So my prenatals with my first made me super nauseous too! I have since found out I’m allergic to folic acid (which is actually super common, 20-30% of us are) and so I take prenatals with folate instead (natural form of folic acid) and no nausea whatsoever triggered by the prenatals this time around As someone that is also generally low iron, I take them at lunch with food and also with orange juice or other fruit juice since the vitamin C helps iron absorption
Yes, I take both in the morning
I’ve taken one for a long time (anemic), I take it before bed! I like the designs by health ferrochel capsules but ask your doctor for recs for sure
