Separation Anxiety
Anyone else struggling with this?
My partner is really frustrating me because he lingers or keeps coming in when baby cries when he leaves. Baby is absolutely fine straight after which I tell my partner but he insists on it dragging out and lingers, keeps coming back and comforting baby.
I know he means we'll and it's hard to leave his son crying. But he isn't getting how much worse he makes it despite me saying!
I’m a firm believer of saying goodbye and having a cuddle but as soon as waterworks start or whining to leave and not look back. It’s hard because you’re the parent so when you hear your baby crying it’s natural to want to comfort them. But as you’ve said it does make it a lot worse!
