I don't know what to feed my kid!

She is so picky at home. She won't eat any meat, and the only vegetable is green beans. She eat alot of fruits. Yogurt is touch and go out comes in waves. She doesn't really like milk. She loves her noodles, Mac n cheese, breads, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, and stuff like that. I just feel like she eats the same things all the time and she's not getting enough protein and vitamins. We make sure to offer everything at meal she usually just feeds it to the dog. What else can I try? She will eat the applesauce pouches with veggies in it so we do that. I just feel like the poor thing eats the same two things!

I don’t have any recommendations just giving you support because same 😫 my daughter doesn’t eat anything and she hardly drinks milk either, she wants water and chips. She won’t even touch anything I put in front of her she just says “no”, she’ll eat fruit like crazy and she loves noodles and Mac and cheese too, but I’m having the same struggle I feel like she doesn’t get enough healthy or fulfilling foods

Take the wins. My daughter won't touch veggies until it comes from a pouch. Will your daughter eat eggs? If she's eating yogurt and cheese I wouldn't worry too much about the milk. Every mom has her worries when it comes to what their kids are and aren't eating. I worry about her lack of veggies but I do what I can. If it's a pouch at least it's something.

Yummy_little_belly on Instagram has toddler food recipes that help incorporate foods.

I feel like this is bad advice but i wouldn’t worry about it….. kids are picky, teething, refusing foods, throwing them off the tray, etc. My son is surviving on air, fruit, and carbs without any variety. Barely any protein and no veggies. My philosophy at this point is any calories are good calories to just maintain his weight and as he ages I’ll try to incorporate more variety

Just posting support because SAME. My little guy goes to daycare and supposedly eats most of his meals and it’s veggies and fruits, things like ham and cheese sandwiches which he would never eat at home. At home, he will eat puree baby food, fruit/vegetable pouches, chicken nuggets and very random things like he likes goat cheese on crackers, but not string cheese. Doesn’t do Mac and cheese but he might try some ravioli (depending on the sauce). He used to like eggs but suddenly hasn’t liked them lately. Toddlers are so hit and miss sometimes, it’s frustrating. I would chat with your pediatrician just to make sure your little one is on par for weight. You could also talk with a feeding specialist to see if there are some tricks or psychology behind your little ones choices. There’s also creative Pinterest recipes, insta-bloggers, etc. that have ideas on how to sneak in food groups :) hang in there! You aren’t alone.

Side note, my child recently discovered spring rolls and is FERAL for them. Costco sells like a box of 120 mini spring rolls and they’re delicious and a good way to get them vegetables I think! (We air fry them)

Give the things they enjoy and offer one new thing with it. Eventually they get curious and try it my son is finally eating avocado and carrots but it’s been on his plate for months
