What would you do?

Hey mamas! Okay so staying at my husbands cousins place who has twin 6 yr olds. They were eating pastry and cake and my 2 yr old son wanted a bite and was going to both of them with his mouth open saying “ahh ahh” for one of them to feed him. I felt so sad seeing that … it looked like my son was begging. 😕 and I felt helpless in the moment. I offered my son a banana and that stoped him. Once he was done he did it again. Also these twins are putting both of their hands full of food up so my son cannot take it from their hands and also x saying “no no I’m not going to give to you. It’s my food” a feel times I know they are kids but I got pissed at this point thinking “entitled much. Who is raising these kids?!???” Be the parents are really nice I know if they were there they would encourage them to share.

I would buy him his own cake and give it to him in front of them then make sure they don’t get any

It's not up to them to have to share, yes it would have been kind of them but they don't have to share their food. It's up to you to explain to your son to ask politely if he wants his own and up to you if you will allow it.

They are still in the ‘me’ stage. Don’t expect them to share willingly. It is very disheartening to see this for a 2 year old but he gets that from adults. Just go in and give him what he needs. (As soon as you see this starting to happen) Also, if you make this known, the other kids will we that you are taking care of your child and it might prompt parents to teach about sharing (if they want)
