My stepson is Caleb and everyone comments on how unusual the name is and there are no other Caleb’s in his school x

Possibly, he may wish he had a more unique name like sis/bro. Though that is a minor reason and not enough to not choose the name Caleb if you love it.
Yeah i’m in the UK and it doesn’t really seem to be a common name here at all! Just when i say them together it sounds too normal next to Cove🤣 we are struggling so much with names i’m losing my mind🤣 unintentionally we named our first son a name beginning with C and both mine and his dad’s name also start with C so now we have to give this baby a name beginning with C so he doesn’t feel left out, but we can’t find any that we like!! Saying that i can’t find any i like that don’t begin with C either🤣 i find boys names so hard!!
Caleb means "dog", so I would skip speaking that over my child, plus there's a lot of them already.
When I thought my twins were both boys I was going to name them Cove and Crue bc I felt like they went together. I don’t think sibling names have to match at all though, Caleb works if it’s what you like!!! Def more of a “traditional” name than Cove but it’s fine.
You could look for names that start with the first letter of your name! Our firsts has the first letter from my name and our second has the same first initial as her dad

@Hannah Crew was our top choice for so long but all of a sudden i just don’t like it anymore and i couldn’t even tell you why😂

Cruz or Croix are similar to crew but a bit different
Go with whatever name you love but personally yes it’s more normal than cove if you want other C names for boys: ▪️Cohen ▪️Cian ▪️Callum
