Court

I have tried to be patient with my baby's dad about him taking the baby for a day or two. But he has not done so yet and the baby is about to be 6 months old. He has a two bedroom apartment and has plenty of space for him. I don't know what else to do I've had the baby since it has been born and I have not had a day to myself at all. Should I just go to court and file full custody and child support that way that it would get his attention to spend time with his baby? I'm thinking about changing his last name back to mine as well because he is not stepping up like a dad is supposed to.
