Apply online - if they deny you while youre pregnant you can apply after the baby again and will probably get approved- it happened to me. If you aren’t legally married dont add your boyfriend to the paperwork because then they will need his pay stubs etc and if he makes too much much w you combined they wont provide the help to you .

I would ask on Reddit in the WIC subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/WIC/s/wL7CCpRkpW

@Maddie thanks so much, did you have to go to the office in your area or have check ins often or anything like that? My mom mentioned back in the day she would have to go weekly ect & im honestly really not looking to do that unless I absolutely have to

Call your local wic office and mske an appointment. You'll need proof of pregnancy, proof of address, ID like a license, proof of income, and your nj famcare card if you have state insurance. Then you'll go back every 6 months. Good luck

@Amanda I’m not sure If it’s the same in NJ but I’m in NY and I do all my appointments over the phone and watch a couple of wichealth videos then I’m good for another 3m

I didnt get approved while i was pregnant so after i had my baby i applied again & got approved. The local one for me is the office on how lane in New Brunswick. I walked in and they told me to apply online & then the first “appointment “ is over the phone . After that i did bring my baby as they needed to check her weight and stuff but after that its good for a few months . My baby is almost 2 and i went maybe a total of like 3 times to the office for appointments its not bad at all
