Mine does sometimes. Aldis has some good healthy meal options for toddlers. Right now I’m 39 weeks pregnant so we do what we can and just make sure he’s fed atp lol. But long story short our peds said Neo that he’s a year he’s free to eat whatever he’d like. So we don’t hold back. Lunch is about the only meal he gets frozen foods. I feel guilty sometimes. But you do what you can. He’s fed, happy, and healthy. You could also maybe take a look at they’ve market for healthier options for toddlers.
My baby hate chicken but I try not to feed her the same thing over and over bc I was picky like that. I usually give her different choices like fruit, beef, basically whatever I’m eating but the part she can eat,
I try to give two options so she can pick sometime she’ll only eat fruit or the fries
My kid only likes bananas and french fries so I understand the struggle he’ll try everything I put in front of him but definitely won’t always eat more than one bite
I try to give him what we eat but he does like a fake bite and throws it. Breakfast is his best meal. He loves snacks and dinner is usually a struggle. We had a lot of issues with eating before he turned one. His appetite now is finally increasing. I try to not give him any and serve him other stuff but he just won’t even attempt to touch some things. I obviously feel guilty for giving him frozen nuggets often was just wondering if other ppl struggle feeding them like me.
I'm in the exact same boat as you heh. Breakfast is the best meal but dinner is a struggle. We offer frozen chicken tenders almost daily as her protein. It's hit or miss whether she actually eats it though. Sometimes I do fish sticks but they were less popular with her. We try to offer what we're eating if it's something she can handle but our go-to with her is tenders, green peas, and either pasta, rice, or couscous. If she's being extra picky then we fill her up on bananas, blueberries, yogurt.
