Baby clothes

Storage

I am a mom of 2. 1 girl. 1 boy. I am trying to figure out the best way to store clothes my children have out grown. I do want more kids so I don’t want to get rid of the clothes I have. Although I do want to store them differently. I have limited storage. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

Advice Needed

Things have become pretty tough in my marriage and we are headed for separation. To moms who have experienced separation or divorce, what did you do in the immediate? Where am I supposed to go? I’m heartbroken to imagine how this would affect my son. I just need advice and guidance on how to go through this.

Context: Many disagreements, an unfair division of labor, and generally my husband seems completely annoyed by me most of the time despite me being the primary parent for our toddler and the bread winner (make it make sense - I know). I love him, but since becoming parents we have really struggled.

He is very self absorbed and doesn’t really do anything he doesn’t want to do. For example, he has never given our almost 3 year old a bath, he sleeps in most days and he doesn’t do bedtime….other than that, he’s mostly a present father and he is kind and supportive to our son. But he doesn’t see the amount of mental load I’ve taken on and how the unfair division of labor and expectation is ruining our marriage.

I’m often lying to myself about how I really feel. Long story short I don’t want to lose myself to him and continue down this road of giving 100% of myself away to motherhood, work and marriage. It’s exhausting. He has maintained a lot more independence than I have, and it feels the only way for me to gain my own is to separate.

Baby sleep

Ima be honest… I’m struggling

The WORST part of becoming a parent? For me personally?? Would be 10000% lack of sleep! I’ll be 1m pp with my second & I am EXHAUSTED. Before kids I was a napper, as a child/teenager I’d come home from school & straight away go sleep till dinner time. Wake up eat, shower maybe play if I was feeling fancy or just happyily go back to sleep🤷🏻‍♀️. When I was 16 got my first job working full time while in school. So I’d nap during my free period & lunch… any time I was actually home I’d be sleeping. When I graduated & just worked fulltime 2+ jobs is again nap anytime I was home or during my lunch breaks😅. With my first daughter it was so easy to still get a little nap in… but with her being a toddler & having a newborn? I get 4hrs IF I’m lucky. I’m struggling… what do ya’ll do to help during the day? I’ve yet to have a successful nap this past month without my man being home & those naps only last 30min - 1.5hrs… cause I exclusively pump every 3hrs.. & he works 60+ hrs a week & needs a chance to nap too.. I’m so tiredd😭. “Nap when the kids nap” my toddler take a amazing 2-3hr nap but around that time her sister decides that’s her awake/party time🙃❤️

C-section

3c Tear Advice?

Had my second Aug 28th, which resulted in a choice of a forceps assisted birth or c-section.. I chose forceps thinking it’d be the “smoothest” recovery outta the two… now being told at my first checkup it’ll take 8-12wks+ to heal?? W physical therapy… oh? But I felt fine (as fine as I could that is..) Till today I skipped my stool softeners the last few days… let’s just say I’m traumatized OUCH🥲. Any mamas got some recommendations & tips for this long road to recovery?

Also… how was the first spicy time after? How long till you tried? What was your experience cause I MOSS MY MAN!💔 (Dint worry ima heal first) but at this point ion want touched for the next 3yrs😭🥲.
