weaning
baby has all the signs of wanted to wean but whenever placed with anything put a puree she just plays with it. i know it’s all about learning textures ect but i just dont understand why she’s not wanting to eat any?? ive tried her on loads of different foods served in different ways. she’s 7 months and not had anything but milk and puree which i know isn’t bad but i just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this??

@Star i do sometimes, not always. but if not i will show her me eating some of her food for her to copy.
Have you considered baby led weaning? Some babies just don't like purees and want to be in control of feeding themselves x
@Willow no she takes puree, i do try baby led weaning and that’s what doesn’t do it. i put a plate infront of her and she just picks it up and plays with it, if it makes it into her mouth she ends up just spitting it out or not swallowing at all and it’s just sitting on her tongue 🤷♀️

do you eat with your LO? Do they watch you eat? My LG watches me & tries to copy me, and even tries to steal my food, sometimes, just eating at the same time as them can be enough for them to learn what to do.
