Baby holding their own bottle

I’ve just been reading & have seen babies typically hold their own bottle between 6-10 months. My little girl doesn’t hold her own bottle & shes 9 months. How do I encourage her to do this? & are your babies holding their own bottle?

My little girl is 13 months and still won’t hold her own bottle🤣 not concerned as she picks up her water, food, toys etc fine, I think she just likes it being done for her🙈😂

My baby has only recently learnt to hold his bottle he’s 10 months in two weeks and sometimes still refuses to hold it before bed when he’s too tired

He likes to hold it whilst I feed him but he wouldn't be able to do it solo, he'd never tip it enough. He can nearly drink from his sippy cup so as long as he masters that I'm not bothered if he does from a bottle. He'll be ditching the bottles in 3/4 months anyway.

Mine is 10 months on Monday and I have the same issue. I always get her to hold it, but as soon as I move my hand she throws hers back🤣 I’m not that concerned but I am trying to get her to do it before she starts nursery

My daughter has been holding her own bottle since about 4/5 months :)

Mine can hold her own bottle but only if she wants to 🙈
