Self care question

Ok mamas in your 40s - what kind of skincare do you use that prevents people from thinking you are your kid’s grandma?

I look permanently tired and disheveled - pretty sure that makes it clear. I guess because I live in an area where older parents are more common than teen parents I never really considered that there might be any confusion.

Ha I think when your little one is still young looking 10yrs older is normal..... or at least that's what I tell myself I imagine as they get older it gets easier so have more time and energy to look after yourself.

I use tinted spf50 every single day. Serum, spf and makeup. Monthly facials. Collagen powder. “Hair skin nails” vitamins. Lots of water, some cardio for the “glow”. Double cleanse, tone, serum and night cream every night. Weekly collagen face masks. Lots of products containing hyaluronic acid

Thanks! I’m 44 with a 3 month old and looking in the mirror earlier I was like wow I look so old I see wrinkles coming in on my forehead etc! I’m normally pretty low maintenance but thinking maybe I should take my skincare more seriously as I’ve just been using basic facewash, toner and moisturizer. Thank you Kelly for the tips

Tula …. The best line. Nordstrom has a cream small bottle $500 but definitely works 😏

I’m 43 but think genetics plays a part tbh. I only use day dream and then in the nights micellar water and night cream.

Sunscreen, eye cream, and hyaluronic acid. Those are go to products.

Bangs, moisturizer, sun screen, enzymes/chemical peels/microneedling and genetics.

Exfoliating regularly helps a lot. Also invest in a good neck cream. Neck skin really shows age. I like Go Pure neck firming cream. I use Ceravae skin serum, Thayers hyaluronic acid milky toner, rosehip oil and ceravae skin renewing night cream..spf tinted moisturizer during day. It cosmetics glow CC tinted serum makeup during day

Casterol oil and frakcinse oil

I used Coco butter and Shea butter all my life but I have great genes what can I say 🤷🏾‍♀️
