Daughters hair

My daughter has beautiful curls but whenever they dry they’re very dry and frizzy. I think she most likely has low porosity hair as it takes ages for it to get wet. I currently wet her hair then put in Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave-In Treatment then ORS Olive Oil Wrap/Set Hair Styling Mousse. Any tips please ????

You need gel and lotion. Spray bottle with just water or a ¼ kids conditioner and the rest water to use a detangler then a moisturizer. African pride kids are great products and smell like bubblegum, kids love it. After that depending on her curl type she might need a gel. Eco styler is a good one. You only need a small amount. Braiding into 4 or 6 will help too, it will help lock in the moisture and save on time doing her hair.

The ORS is to set styles that are "up" e.g braids, twists, cornrows etc id never use it for leaving hair down. Id keep it in some jumbo braids or twists for a while to give it a break from being brushed daily and to allow some moisture to stay in it. I wouldnt be leaving it down daily if thats how it ends up. Also her hair may not do well with coconut. Try something that doesnt contain coconut

Do you brush her hair out when it’s dry?
