When to take mat leave ?
How far did you’s all work I want to work pretty much till I’m due but don’t want to push myself

With my first I was due to start maternity at 38+1 but my waters ended up breaking on what was supposed to be my last day 😂 this time I’m planning to go on maternity at 37+5 as that’s just the way my due date has fallen. Wanted to work up to 38 weeks again same as last time 😊
I’m unfortunately being put on mat leave a month prior to birth due to my work safety, I really wanted to work as close as possible though
I’m due 8th July and officially my mat leave starts 4th July. I wanted it too as late as possible just because what I will earn whilst off drops pretty sharpish! I plan to take annual leave before then though and play it by ear as to when I need to finish in June
