I get it! I feel lonely AND bored so I try to make friends in my area. Then I remember I am only bored at specific times of the day/weekend and at others I'm too busy working full time, mommying, dropping kids to school, picking up, going to activities, making dinner...And I'd much rather not have to plan something that I might be too exhausted to go to or meet without kids. Even planning to meet is mental head space that we sometimes barely have. So we talk until kids make us meet😅

I think it’s the people as opposed to the app tbh. I arranged to meet someone and they let me get all the way there and just didn’t show. Makes me think what’s the point tbh x

Haha yup! But that's OK! I can text about anything and everything all day before I can make a date and time work out for both parties. As long as I have someone to talk to, and maybe meet up once or twice I'm ok with that, especially when my kid is still so young and I'm so fucking tired all the time lol I'm sorry you're disappointed, but you're not alone! Lol no advice but, offering solidarity. I'm still a 38 year old loser with no friends lol
