New here!

Hi all. I suspect my 10 week old has a CMPA, he is 10 weeks old but I have thought this since he was a few weeks old (was told I was being ridiculous). He’s exclusively breast fed, granted his symptoms are very mild really, he had some mucus in stools occasionally, alot of gas and gets small patches of spotty skin. I ate a lot of dairy and this morning he projectile vomited and had spots on his face, after vomiting the spots got better. I don’t feel I’m sure enough to go to the GP yet so am going to cut out dairy and soya for a few weeks and see if there’s any changes. My question is - does anyone have suggestions for good dairy free alternatives? Like cheese, milks etc etc. also what snacks are good on a diary free diet?

I'd suggest only cut dairy first as baby may be gone with soya although of baby is still reacting in a few weeks then cut soya Cheese we used the violife one Milk soya is usually best for baby but we use oat milk ( haven't tried it myself though 😂) Dairy free chocolate like supermarket own branded ones are really nice! Alot of biscuits are dairy free Pom bears Skips Chicken walkers crisps

The best dairy free cheese for melting is 100% the applewood one it's really good on toasties!

Could look out for vegan chocolate/ biscuit as well! Lindt 70% doesn't have milk!

@Corin yeah I agree or the sheese cheese melts.

Best milk is definitely oat milk soya can have a strange after taste.. yogurts the oddly good or petit filous dairy free are really nice, or koko , loads of crisps are dairy free.. I love the perkier bars for like a choccy healthy snack..
