We took our son to a local comic con when I want to say he was maybe around 1? He didn’t fully understand it of course, but was very curious and seemed to enjoy himself. He loved all the bright colours and people in fancy dress or cosplay - it must have been really interesting to him! There were other kids there and lots of people waved at him. It’s a great way for you to share something you enjoy with him too. The only thing I’d say is if it’s a big con with performances, talks or music maybe take ear defenders just in case it gets a bit loud for him :)
I've seen plenty of babies and children there! I am probably wanting to bring my baby
It will be loud though, maybe get those alpine baby ear protectors
We're going to star wars celebration in Japan next month and not taking our 1yr old. She would get WAY too bored and need a nap (doesn't nap in the pram or carriers anymore). Plus it's quite a long way lol
Wow star wars celebration in japan! That's gonna be amazing. Hope you have a grand time 😄 Good point about the ear defender. Already had one of those so will take it along. Looks like we're going!

We went to a local con event when my little one was around 10 weeks old. He's 14 months now and he's been to 3 cons, and 2 Lego festivals 🙂
@Sophie oh my god, Lego festivals sound amazing!!!! I’m immediately googling 😂
Local to me people take their newborns and few month olds
