Shifting away from purées to BLW and baby just not enjoying food anymore

Since my baby was 6 months I’ve always had her on purées with a few snacks like melty puffs/sticks, also me feeding her bit of my food from my hands . Now she just does not seem interested in me spoon feeding her. She’s nearly 9 months now and I struggle to get her to eat the purées she normally has. I’m thinking of transitioning to BLW or trying to get her to like food again. I’m not sure where to start or how to get her to eat like she used to. No teeth or illness either. She also hates any textures purées/foods too. Will refuse the spoon if I try to feed her again with it.

I do a mix of puree and BLW so that if he doesn’t eat much of the BLW he’ll still get some of the puree in. He loves even playing with it it’s great for their motor skills if anything. He goes between both throughout the day. Some snacks I offer are BLW then I’d give a yoghurt with lumpy fruit puree for textures. I find it’s all trial and error and I’m sure she will eventually come around to it all. Most of his BLW foods end up on the floor

Refer to solid starts for advice on BLW, it's a great resource:) tells you how to serve solids in a safe way based on age

Have you tried giving her the spoon? I found that helped with my first x

Give her a decoy spoon while you feed her. Or if you're baby prefers just put spoonfuls on her high chair and let her stuff it in her mouth, let's her feel the texture before it's in her mouth so the curiosity will get her trying what it would feel like in her mouth x

Also so many babies have to try foods more than once before they get used to it. Don't worry she'll get there in her own time x

I do a mixture but honestly my LO is much happier when he can hold the food himself (hates a spoon/being fed). So we do lots of soft foods (boiled or steamed veg/fruit etc) and cut into finger size/shape pieces that he can grab. General rule of thumb is if you can squish it fairly easily between your fingers then its soft enough for them to mash with their gums. Just try loads of different things. My 8 month old basically just gets whatever is appropriate from my own plate
