how to get thru this??

Does anybody have any tips on the toddler phase of asking 101 questions. i try redirecting her to other activities, answering a few of them but it’s so many that it gets me extremely overwhelmed and i end up having panic attacks. i just lock myself in my room, im not sure what to do. she’ll literally ask 10 questions about 1 thing and the. ask all of those questions about 5 times each. idk if it’s because i’m more of a doer and not a discuss everything happening kind of person . or if this is really excessive and she needs medication idk what to do.

Couple things to save your sanity. 1. Figure out what’s sparking the questions is it curiosity or connection? 2. Over explain everything. (Example: we are putting your shoes on to meet friends at the park so that we can see friends and get out of the house) and watch bluey season 2 episode 12 “sticky gecko” to know you’re not alone.

That’s normal, she definitely doesn’t need medication 😳 I recommend you take deep breathes and don’t get too stressed about it. Be supportive of your 3 year old as they learn new things.

If you feel like someone needs medication, I would try looking into some for yourself. It’s completely normal to ask all of those questions, but you can’t live a life where you have constant panic attacks because parenting is going to continue to overwhelm you. There are more natural approaches to dealing with your anxiety also.
