You’re not wrong. Gaining weight in pregnancy is to protect you and the baby from complications. It’s part of a healthy pregnancy.

Tell your bf if he keeps making you seem like you’re a rodeo bull tell him we’ll come beat him like one. A mob of pregnant women and moms will come ready with their brooms and chancletas(sandals) and we’ll give him a peace of mind something better for him to worry about 😂

Don't listen to him. Gaining weight in pregnancy is normal. I gained 60lb with my first, it took me about 1.5 years to lose it and now I am 35 weeks with my second and have gained 50lb so far.

I gained 60lb with my first baby! So much extra fluid and swelling, lost 35 lbs within the first 2 weeks postpartum and eventually lost all but 5lbs on it pretty much just from the fluid dissipating and nursing and not being pregnant. Your body is just doing what it needs to do ❤️ but nooooottttt cool for him to be commenting on it 👎🏻

I would be unleashing the last pregnancy rage on him if my husband ever said that to me. When I complain about my weight to him he says “babe it’s ok, pure pregnant and growing a human”. I’m Sorry you’re going through that with your boyfriend

a real man doesn’t bring that up, tell him how it makes you feel. my man knows that stuff like weight is touchy for me and most girls and he loves me either way. also let ur dude know that breastfeeding makes you lose pounds so tell him not to bother you

and tell him that you’re gaining weight so that way his baby can be as healthy as it can be so he needs to shush
