Broccoli, because that's what I was eating
Green beans because that’s what we had
Sweet potato, as it was suggested by our pediatrician. I would recommend avocado though, just peel the skin from half avocado, offer to baby as is. No prep required and it is a great first food for baby.
Sweet potatoes. Chose it because it has a smooth texture when mashed (can give as is or mix with Breastmilk or formula for creamier consistency) relatively easy to digest for baby and healthy. He loved it. You can also offer it in large sliced chunks that the baby can hold and feed themselves. We did both.
Also broccoli! I did some as a purée as well as a floret to munch on.
Omelette, avocado and banana x
Chicken korma rice and naan, and because it was what we were having for dinner 😂
@Elena haha thanks! We just went straight in with ‘meals’ and just served him a bit of what we were having. I think that first week we also had a sausage pasta, homemade nuggets and potatoes wedges and stir fry. He’s 4 now and still such a good eater
mashed avocado. I don’t know why.
Pear because my baby needed help pooping 💩
Banana. I didn’t choose it a friend was eating it while holding her and she was having it whether we liked it or not 😂 The first thing I actually cooked for her (that same night) was broccoli because they are prone to liking sweet things so it’s good to get them used to the bitter taste of green vegetables early on
