In order to avoid being late, I set the clocks ahead 5 mins

I've always done this. The only thing that I have that is correct time is my phone (so I know I'm setting things 5 mins fast). My husband(been together 5 years, lived together for 4). Just started asking again why all the clocks are fast like he did when we first moved in together. My reply was have you been late to anything in the past 4 years? The kicker? Now that he's been constantly questioning me about it, I've been late so many times.......

I should start doing that to. But not matter how early I get up with a 2 year old...I'm always late.

@Ally 2 yo you need a minimum 45 extra mins just for the boots, lol

@Ellie hahaha...totally. Just getting her change to head out. That takes 20 minutes if I'm lucky. Have to chase her and make like a game

@Ally my son LOVES shoes, like he would sleep in them if we let him, still takes forever to get them on his feet in the morning I usually change him for the day while he's still asleep so I don't get much of a fight

My mom used to do this. My brain needs correct clocks tho lolol I’d always do the math on her clocks and she’d yell at me she’d have to change them now

Yeah that doesn’t work for me cuz my brain knows I’m trying to trick it…I’ve given up on the internalized ableism with myself.. I try to be on time the best I can but if I’m not oh well I have a disability with time blindness… it is what it is 🤷🏻

@Kellie I have multiple alerts too. 1hr before, when I need to get ready (changes depending on if my son has to come with) and one for when I have to leave now or else I'll be late, lol

@Ellie that’s the only way girl 🙌 we gotta manage our time better as mums not to be late Xx

@Kellie I also put all appointments in 15 mins before they actually start, especially if they are for the specialists. They are an hr drive away
