My doctor recommended continuing my prenatal vitamin as long as I’m breastfeeding. I’ve found the body armor or coconut water and protein shakes are incredibly helpful for staying energized. There’s also a caffeinated sparkling water that I order from Amazon and it’s amazing, it’s an energy drink without all of the harsh/toxic ingredients in things like Red Bull and I don’t always have time to make coffee 😭

You can have coffee, tea, Mio energy etc just keep your caffeine intake below 200 mg I believe. They don’t recommend drinking energy drinks like Red Bull Celsius or monsters but some people do

Rainbow Light makes a "post natal" vitamin, or used to. I take Vitamin D and magnesium supplements throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding, I just check to adjust my doses based on whatever multivitamin I'm taking. Not sure about B12, but I don't think the shots are recommended during breastfeeding.

Upspring Milk flow has been helpful for me and I mix it with almond milk so it taste like a chocolate shake

@Rachel some moms have to be careful taking that since it has fenugreek

@Sabina what brand do you buy I’m a big redbull girlie but I’m breastfeeding

@Annalyn cascade ice usually but I can’t always find it so other times I get hi ball energy which has more ingredients but our pediatrician said as long as I stay under 300mg of caffeine there’s no issue!

I use body armor and then put the breast milk drink mix into it.

My dr told me it was safe to use mct oil while breastfeeding. Check with your dr first but I swear NOTHING gives me energy like some good ol mct oil. And you can put it in anything. Or on anything. It’s flavorless. I’ve even eaten it in my cereal. And if you add it to your cereal and mix it before the milk it stays crunchy longer. Bonus tip!
