Birthday and nursery

Any mamas who don't work at the minute, on your littles bday if they're in nursery , do you send them in? I know the nursery will have cake and a little mini celebration for him so I don't want him to miss out on that but also I don't want to miss out on the day with him too! What would you do? Ask them to have it the day after maybe? His birthday is on a Monday 💜

I took the day off & still sent him to nursery 🤣 He had a lovely day, i had my haircut & got the last min bits for him. Did a bday picnic the following day & then Diggerland at the weekend (which I highly recommend)!

I'm sending her to nursery. My husband has taken the day off (I am on mat leave) and we will be building her Trampoline (birthday present) so it is ready after nursery. Grandparents are flying from Spain and will be here after nursery. So on her birthday we will probably just pick up a bit earlier, open presents but having a parrilla on a different day.

My son will be going to nursery. I am off work but his dad is working. We will do presents in the evening and are going to ThomasLand on the Saturday!

we are both working and cannot take the day off lol so he will be going in!

What I do for my little one is I work in childcare so I tend to take her birthday off depending what day it falls on. This time it’s a Tuesday so on the Monday I bring in cakes and she will celebrate her birthday with them then on Tuesday I will take her out for her birthday. If fell on the Monday I would take cakes in and ask if they can celebrate on the Tuesday x
